2010 Fic Recap
My greatest accomplishment was finally finishing I Am Going To the West. And not only did I finish it, but I was very pleased with the story overall. I think I did good [g]

In January, I wrote a ficlet called The Pattern, wherein our Immies celebrate the coming of rain.

March brought Treasure, another ficlet, this time featuring Captain Jack Sparrow. I also wrote Paving the Road To Hell to try and explain why Charlotte never told Methos about Tony.

April brought Nick Fury into my life, and he got his own story, Do You Remember?. I really liked this one.

In June, I finally started the sequel to Practical Applications, Transformative Variations. I'm six parts into this one, and my goal is to get it finished in 2011. Seeing Iron Man II of course changed some of what I had envisioned, but it's all good.

October is the season for Halloween fic, and I wrote Threads - Methos and costumes!

December brought me dipping my toes into Lost Girl fic, and I wrote an untitled snippet featuring Methos and Trick. I'm hoping to expand upon it in 2011. And last up (unless I writing something today!) was my Xmas fic, String of Pearls, with Nick Fury once again making an appearance (think Pirate Santa!).

Overall, the majority of what I wrote was finishing West, and starting Transformative Variations. I can't seem to write a mid-length story. It's all ficlets and epics.

Thank you to everyone who read and left me a comment. It means so much, and I appreciate you, each and everyone.

What I Wrote This Year
Okay, I wrote way more than I thought I had. Haven't done a word count, but dang! This was the year of Magnificent Seven, obviously. With a smattering of White Collar - mixed with M7, of course! And for all my Ezra love, Vin took center stage a lot this year, oh, and I finally gave in to the demand for Chris/Charlotte.  I even wrote some humour this year! And I got a few more parts of West done. I'm hoping 2010 is the year I finally finish the damn thing! What else? Jack Sparrow made a ghostly appearance, Methos did get a little page time - though not as much as he wanted, and Tony pouted because he got only one story this year. 2010, darling, I promise! Really!

::When We're From Sorrow Free::
::We'll Sing On::
::No Place For A Lady:: (JD is a Jack Sparrow fanboy!)
::Too Young For Heaven::
::Books & Covers:: (Tony gets his one story. Bali tease!)
::Post 'Serpents' Snippet::
::On A Raven's Wing:: (My shot at wrting 3:10 From Yuma and Ben Wade. A personal fave of mine this year)
::Man of the Family::
::Five Memories Ezra Has Of His Sister:: (The introduction of Cecily, whom I've come to adore. She just won't be ignored!)
::Silk & Firecrackers:: (Where Cecily becomes my most requested ship - Vin/Cecily)
::Bound:: (Angggggst!)
::Always:: (Sequel to angggggggst!)
::The More Things Change:: (Methos gets a biscuit)
::The Heart of a Friend::
::Neither Wind Nor Bird::
::All the Reasons Why:: (And Maude gets her moment)
::Straight and Narrow:: (Lord, I'm wrting White Collar fic!)
::Empyrean’s Shores:: (Ghostly Jack)
::An Allocation of Regret::
::Double Double, Pants and Trouble:: (I can write funny!)
::Together::

2008 Fiction Recap
After looking at the list, I guess I wrote more than I thought.

So this was the year of two shiny new fandoms for me! In the spring, I became obsessed with Iron Man -- mildly [cough] And that was followed later in the year by Magnificent Seven. How did I fall so totally in love with a ten-year-old show? I have no answer for that one. And along the way, I managed to merge my two new favourite fandoms with my beloved old Highlander fandom, and it was good! And I think it's a mixture you may see a lot of in 2009 - sorry 'bout that.

What I Wrote This Year )

And yes, I'm lazy, so it's just a list, doesn't have all the Q&A bits everyone is doing. But if you want to ask me one of those questions in the comments, I'll answer. How that for a lazy compromise?

I really am going to try and write the sequel to Practical Applications this year, for those who have asked. Hey, I want to see what happens when Charlotte tells Methos about Tony too! Not to mention that whole going to Afghanistan thing.

Thanks to every single one of you who reads, and special thanks to those who take the time to comment! I appreciate every one of them. Y'all are the best readers a gal could have :)

2007 Year in Fic Recap
I'd forgotten I started the New Year with a PWP I finished off for [livejournal.com profile] medie's 'Porning in the New Year' challenge! The Spaniard was that particular story.

As for the rest of the year...

Stories, Ficlets, and Drabbles )

DVD Commentarys )

For some reason, I thought I hadn't written as much as last year, but I guess I wrote more than I thought I did! Quite a bit more, actually.

2006 -- The Year in Fic
Yes, I did the retrospective thing too! Looking at it all in a list, not bad! Considering that I went nearly three years without writing a single fictional thing, I'm pretty pleased with 2006. And 2006, in the spring, was when I moved over to Live Journal. I'm sure that the interaction here really helped get my muses going. Previously, I'd only posted my fic on email lists, and was getting virtually no feedback/comments. Here, people actually read and comment! Concept! So it was a good change for me.

But why is the fic gone? Because it's under the cut! )

And no retrospective would be complete without a thank you for my wonderful, dedicated beta readers. You guys rock! And many thanks to everyone who reads my offerings. It's much appreciated!

My archive, Tales From the Darkwood, can be found here.

Happy 2007!
