I guess I just don't care about how it all got started...
That's fine. Erik/Magneto has always been my favorite character, and while I like Ian McKellan he's never been the Magneto in the books when I was reading them. By the time I was reading the books Magneto's body had been made physically younger (long story). Michael's Erik is much closer to the Magneto I will always love both physically, and up until the last 10 minutes of XM:FC psychologically.
I mean a little is fine but when it becomes THE story line...
The CGI is NOT the storyline of XM:FC. I've no doubt it's the CGI they packed the trailer with, but it isn't the story. The story is the story of Charles and Erik which is well written, and beautifully played by James and Michael.
