Time Flies

Just realized it's sort of my internet anniversary. I got online in October of 1995, and over the next year, became friends with wonderful women like lilliew, havocthecat, and, in her own special category, ninjababe. We 'met' in 1996, and that summer, she traveled cross-country, moving in with us a few weeks later. Fourteen years and counting, we're still living together. How the heck did that happen? Life, it is strange!

Happy anniversary to you! I have met many, many wonderful people through the net, a special one in particular.

I don't remember the exact time I hopped on the internet and started chatting with people, but I will never forget December 14, 1997 (or December 15th, depending on which side of the pond you happened to be on). That's the night I met the Welshman and we chatted for the first time. In three weeks, we'll celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We were online dating before all the cool kids started doing it. ;)
