When you do, mail us - hubby has organised most of our trip by himself, so we could give you lots of good addresses. (http://www.hospitalityclub.org would be one of those - really cool place which is all about travelling and being nice *s* - you'll see)

I've been reading this thread here (http://rachelmanija.livejournal.com/371250.html) on travleing in Japan. Lots of great tips from a woman who's travled there a few times as a tourist. WorldCon is in Yokohama next year, so lots of the SF lists I'm on are talking about Japan travel.

When I go, I'll be staying a chunk of time with my friend's parents. She lives here in CA now, and we met when her mom was doing research here in the States when we were teenagers. Anyway, her dad has a whole itinerary planned out for me :) Will be interesting!
