I know, I'm supposed to be packing, etc... but I had to share this! The writer of the last House M.D. epsisode "House v. God" has an LJ and she has a new post about the ep up. I almost fell over when I read this:

If you've ever watched the Highlander television show, I'd offer Methos as an example of something similar; he was presented as a mild-mannered researcher, not interested in fighting or questions of who was more macho than whom -- and then we found out about his warlike past. Did the audience say, "That's crazy, it utterly contradicts what we've learned up till now"? No, they said, "My god, it all makes sense."

It's really really good. It's become one of my 'obsessive' fandoms :) I've had the urge to write a crossover with Methos and House for the longest time. I would die of the snark! I did work House into an HL story, but no Methos present.
