... I am a domestic goddess! Not only did I thoroughly clean my room, but the whole freakin' apartment is immaculate! I scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom floors, scrubbed the sink, cleaned off the dining room table so we can actually use it as [gasp] a table, and threw out many bags of junk. Oh, and washed all pots and pans, and uploaded fic to the Highlander fic archive. Now if I only had people to invite over, I could show it all off! Well, nothing's perfect. No, no writing, but we weren't expecting miracles now, were we?

Now I'm drinking red wine and looking to be entertained. [looks expectantly at flist]

I was rather thinking that already sounded somewhat like a miracle. Not because it was you doing it, but because were anything of the sort to happen in my house, I would expect the company to be the second coming, if you see what I mean.

And ... you use your table as a table? I thought they were meant to be catch-alls. Sort of like a handbag, but bigger and with better access. Huh. Learn something new every day.

Rarely is my table used as a table. It's usually piled with crap. But all the Xmas ornaments look so nice, and now the carpet is clean, it sort of snowballed into a full cleaning blitz!
Now I'm sitting in the dark with just the Xmas lights and candles, well, and the glow of the monitor [g]

An advance warning though - this week's Holby has been shifted to Thursday do to BBC1 showing the Royal Variety Performance (http://www.eabf.org.uk/rvp1.htm) on Tuesday. Bleh. It's all for a good cause, but happened last week and is often, uh, crap. Even Take That are in it this time *face!palm*

I cleaned yeaterday! Threw many things away and made myself even more sick from the dust and cat hair balls that I stirred up. But it looks sooo nice!
