Not Quite So Bad This Time

I finally rewatched the season ender of Grey's Anatomy since I've been feeling the urge to write the fic I wanted to write when it first aired. But at the time, I was working on other stories, so I put it off. I swore I wouldn't cry this time. Yeah, right! But at least I didn't sob myself into a little puddle like the first time around! Still, when Alex picks Izzy up from Denny's side, I was a sniffling fool. [sigh] I loved Denny. He's the main reason I stated watching Supernatural - or at least, the actor who plays him.

Anyway, my memory is refreshed, and for those of you who have really wanted Emily and Methos to get back together, you may get your wish. At least for now. You know what I'm like. I'm a fickle Cupid. And I like it!

A few minutes later: just realized that the music playing, 'Evanescence - Anywhere', is perfect for this story. Have I mentioned how much I love Evanescence?

Um, speaking of WIPs and plot bunnies multific (http://community.livejournal.com/multific/7385.html) is running a unfinished fic-athon. The closing time for submissions is today (Mid-day, California time) which is a little short notice, but I can think of three plot bunnies you've told me about that are perfect!

Including *cough* House/Amanda :-)

Ah, go on, you know you want to! Plus, because I was idiotic enough to submit a few WIPs myself, I'll have have someone to whine to in the next couple of months about my writing :-P

But it's not a WIP, it isn't even started :) Yeah, House/Amanda is still around, but the Grey's story has been sitting around in my brain since May -- it has seniority :)

I went and looked, and it seems like way too much work [g]I don't write well under any sort of contraint, I guess. I'm a free spirit!! LOL But never fear, all the stories will get written eventually :)

Look at it this way: time spent waiting for votes and writing out all my bunnies could be better spent writing the actual fic [g] And I really am going to try and start the next Grey's fic tonight. After that, I'm leaning towards the House/Amanda since I have lots of research reading left to do for the '1840' fic.

I'm just taking my cue from what I see other places. For example, if I hadn't already seen S2 of Doctor Who, I wouldn't really need to watch it at this point after all the stuff I've read about it since the season ended :)

So I'll try and remember, but after a few months pass, I can't guarantee I'll remember.

Oh, to clarify, I always use spoiler space during the season while it's airing. It's just the months later after the season has ended that I tend not to.

Oh God I don't know if I've ever wanted a series to start and been so afraid of it at the same time, ever since you mentioned that I will continue to need tissues for Greys Anatomy I need funny shows damn it!

House is still on break, CSI Miami is going to hurt a character NCIS is going to/has killed one (depending on which season I catch!)

On plus side have bought Season 1 NCIS so can revisit favourite bits for when season 2 (on Five I think) gets sad.
Have fallen hard for this show (not to mention lead character *whistles innocently* new userpic, new mood icons) I haven't abandoned House (waiting for him with baited breath) and HL what can one say but whenever I need it he will be there :)

You have a new icon! Cool! Grey's is good though even in that it can be sad, there's lots of humour mixed in.

Ah yes the humour is what keeps me sane when the tissues have to come out again.

Same with House really the few sad ones have been really sad but the funny bits have me choking with laughter so all is well in the end.
