I LOVED it!!


Well, I suck at movie reviews, so don't expect much. It looked amazing. Truly. It was much darker than the first one, but that was to be expected considering number two. It made me cry, several times. and you must stay through the credits. Seriously. It's way more than the usual gag scene they do. I've read 'official' types of reviews that said it was confusing. No idea why they found it confusing -- Nin and I had no trouble following the story. It was fun, and sad, a great adventure. Some of the fight scenes near the end were spectacular. And an terrific score as well.

Can't wait to see it again tomorrow!

We loved the score! And the ships!

I was surprised that the reviews that said it was confusing as well. I think those are reviewers who saw the second one once and have seen every other movie between here and there and they had forgotten what was going on and who people were. That's the only way it wouldn't have made sense. Or if they didn't see the first two at all. It made perfect sense to us. I also heard that there was too much exposition and that confused me as well.

I pretty much have come to believe movie reviewers don't actually pay attention to what they're reviewing unless it's some oh so arty, and therefore, 'proper' movie. I read so many reviews that make you realize they practically phoned it in and you wonder if they did more than watch the trailers and a few ads!

I was really pleased with the movie and it totally met my expectations. There were some things I could have done without, but that's pretty much true of any film.

I wasn't confused, but it was sure fun watching all the double crossing going on...

I enjoyed it as well, way more then I thought I would.

The tears did make there way down my cheeks at the end.

I laughed at the "Disney" moment towards the end that set up the end to make it all ok.. in a sense.

I liked the way it played out- I just wish they would define the rules of the universe a little more.... I am waiting for them to pull a resolution out of their asses vs having some conclusion.

I also left before the end - guess I will need to go back.

yeah I felt that as well - think they will "fix" the one tear inducing thing that happened towards the end???

When I saw the little boat and the map - that is what I figured was 4 would start up soon.
