Blimey, Brits are taking over American telly

Yet another article on the overseas TV invasion.

Something not mentioned in the article but I read somewhere else last week, that David Tennant's wife Sophia Myles, who I adored in the DW ep she did, is costarring in the new vampire show on CBS, 'Moonlight'.

I did a bit of a "Wait, did I miss wedding news?" double-take at this. AFAIK, they haven't made it legal. :-)

I was torn between "yay" and "eep" at the Sophia news. Yay, for obvious reasons. But eep because it seems like they're recasting the thing every time you turn around, and the scuttlebutt from the upfronts was that it was awfully bland. I'm really hoping that doesn't turn out to be the case, and I'll certainly be checking it out, but so far I haven't been holding my breath.

And of course the first thing I saw her in was Underworld, so even if I weren't going to check it out anyway, I'd have to see her on the other side of the fangs. ;-)

I had no idea one way or the other, I just saw her referred to as his wife. Cute couple though!

I havne't heard much about the series other than it being retitled.
