LCA 10

We're still hoping to go to LCA X, especially as it's probably going to be the last one. I know, I hate participating in auctions, and I want to go a celebrity auction! But it's to see friends I haven't seen in ages, even if I never bid on a single thing, it's always fun. And I was just looking at the updated guest list, and I see Paul Blackthorne of Dresden Files is going to be a guest! He would be cool to meet. Oh, and one of the guys from Sentinel... don't know if it's 'hair guy' or 'grumpy guy' though. Hey, I only ever saw one episode, and that's how I remember them! [g]

Laurie, are you going? We probably won't decide till just before the event. Will have to mind our budget in Philly to have any chance.

Oh sweetie, I wish. I live on disability, and I just don't have the funds. I'd really like to, especially since this is the last one. I'd really like to meet Jayne L'argent (Nigel's fan club person, and who has been partially responsible for all the LCAs) I've gotten to know her a bit by emails over the years, and this is probably my last chance to meet her.

Why was I thinking you'd been to LCA before? I really do have a crappy memory :( Well, pooh!

Jayne's a dear, proud to call her one of my good friends. We've been planning on taking a trip that goes through Ohio to visit for a few years now, and she's talked about coming here, but getting to L.A. is just a wee bit easier all around [g]

I attended the LCA2 in 1999 and had such a great time. Too bad that this one will be the last one. So, I wish Jayne and all the others a great time!

I hope you get to go. I would love to since you and Nin have always said what a blast it is, but unfortunately it is the same weekend as HLWW8 and I already committed to go to Vancouver for that.

I wish everyone the best - and if the 24 execs are there I am sure you all will be plugging PW for a huge guest role - right?
