Three for Three! Torchwood is hitting all cylinders this season.


It may cause a rift saying so, but yet again, I loved the ep, and I actually liked all the characters! I could get used to this, I really could. This one kind of reminded me of the one from last season with the pilot from the past Owen was in love with and she left. So I think Owen really empathized with Tosh in this one. And I'm actually feeling a fondness for the concept of Tosh and Owen. Yeah, scared me too.

I started getting weepy about half way through, and it didn't get better [sigh] I'm a sucker for 'City on the Edge of Forever'/'Yesterday's Enterprise' sorts of stories, and this one pushed all my buttons.

I loved this episode. For me, it was the last three seconds of the ep -- after talking to Owen, Tosh walking away, trying to smile, but just before the show faded to black, the smile faded and all she was left with was ashes. It was her job, she helped to save the world, but she was left with what had actually happened.

Every Toshiko episode seriously breaks my heart. It's just played so amazingly.

I'm loving this season so far, which is a little bit surprising for me, because often I'm left irritated by little things that the characters did (particularly in season 1). But this particular episode just killed me (and I did cry, which is kind of sad in and of itself), and I'm a sucker for any Tosh-centric story.

Me too! S1 left me cold a lot of the time, especially the characters, but this season has been great so far.
