Nice Weekend

ninjababe was off yesterday, and works today, but her schedule was shifted last minutes, so now she'll be home at 5pm instead of midnight, so that is very cool! I'm making Cheese Grits with Shrimp for dinner with sourdough bread and Caesar Salad. I'm also going to try and make a peach crumble for desert. Other than that, I need to make a batch of yogurt, as I'm switching back to my yogurt regime now it's spring. My tummy will be much happier! Also need to do some tidying up.

Yesterday, Nin brought me home purple tulips for Easter! It was very sweet of her. she also got a stuffed plushy lamb to add to our spring toy collection -- the mauve bunny needed a friend. Then, since the sun was out for once, we went for a walk down to the lagoon -- Laguna Grande Park. We're going to try and leave the apartment at least once on weekends, even if it's just for a walk. We both need more exercise! When we got home, we had left over pizza and watched 3:10 To Yuma. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommend it.

I think tonight we'll try and finish up S1 of Rome, since we now own S2, though we do have the last three Torchwoods to watch. Nor have we yet watched any New Amsterdam. As for the rest of the day, I am going to try and make myself write [cracks mental whip] and maybe watch PotC or Bridget Jones's Diary or something. And hang out on the internet of course :)

Yay for pretty purple tulips. Unfortunately, Raven and Methos would try to eat them. Glad Nin got off early. Happy Easter.

Yeah, my other cats would too. But we only have Sparrow with us, and she is the only cat I've ever had who doesn't eat flowers -- real ones at least, she really likes silk ones -- and doesn't jump up on counters or want human food.
