I've had my blog since Jan. of 2002, and it's fairly successful, can't complain -- I was even briefly a Playful Primate in the Ecosystem [snicker] I've made lots of great friends, and it gives me a place to vent about more serious, topical stuff -- it's the place for my angry political muse, but she's been kinda tuckered out lately. As I was saying on my blog today (nothing like quoting yourself):

Remember I told you I got a Live Journal last month as a place to put my fic? Well, it's sorta sucked me in. Turns out that the majority of the fandoms I was involved in moved to LJ lock, stock, and barrel, and I missed the memo! I've rediscovered old friends I'd lost track of over the last few years, alive and well and very chatty on LJ. It's been kind of like revisiting the good old online days back in the late 90s.

So jut wanted to thank all of you have been so welcoming! It's been a very kewl few weeks! And I've even been getting fic feedback, which is so awesome, you can't believe. Seriously :)

Yeah, I totally missed that memo too. Of course, I was busy trying to survive college and not writing any fanfic *at all*, so I guess I have an excuse.

If you happen to come across a Russell Crowe fan, please point them in the directionof my LJ - am working with another writer to create a new AU to play in, and would love some feedback on the writing we are doing.

Hopefully I will get to announce a new website for the Crowe fanfic as well (not my set up though...by those in As The Crowe Flies)
