Turn Left

We both really liked this one!

Donna rocks my socks! And my trepidation about Rose returning, at least in this episode, was soothed. Probably because she had no scenes with the Doctor. So no mooning. Yay! And I always love alternate future type things, so this was great all around.

And next week's looks like a real zinger! The only person I didn't see was Nine. I was saying to Nin that this looks like the new series version of the classic series episode 'The Five Doctors'.

I'd be worried if she mooned (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mooning). Not suitable programming before the watershed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watershed_%28television%29) XD

I know what you mean though. It's clearly an additional sign of Donna's special status that she's the only recent Companion to *not* succumb to Ten!love.

:PP Not that kind of mooning! [g]

Did you see the post I made earlier in the week (http://ithildyn.livejournal.com/659186.html) about the cheese boot camp? I thought of you [g]

I agree with you; utterly fabulous episode. Donna was brilliant in it from the get go as was Wilf, her mother, all of the various guest actors and even Rose. The perfect degree of mystery and competence; now, let's just see what they do with the last two episodes.

Oh, I've always loved the whole Sliding Doors concept! This was a fantastic episode - very dark, but very moving. I'm also really hoping that Donna doesn't get killed next week, but I'm afraid that's going to be a lost cause since they've been foreshadowing it since at least Planet of the Odd ("your song will be ending soon"). I'll love to proved wrong, though.

And, yes, wow on everyone in the preview. It looks like it's going to be sheer greatness. Though Rose, armed and ready, is an interesting contrast to Ten's increased insistence on "no guns" this season.
