You will have a great time. You are just a tad upset about leaving your kittehs.
While you are in LV, you must talk to David A and Jon C about breaking into the whole writing game. Two scripts at scale should more than cover you for a year.
You are good at it. You should be getting paid for your work.
Now you just need to get your muse lined up with some commercial properties.
You will not see me there ... even though my wife would love to attend to see her HL people. I'm not up to travel yet after the surgery, not even to visit my friends out at the "Lake" a couple hours west of LV.
The warning about the surgery is here (http://fkastrider.livejournal.com/8842.html) and the aftermath is here (http://fkastrider.livejournal.com/9086.html).
I'm kind of glad to have it over with so that I will be in good enough shape for a Camping Vacation next year.
I was able to delay the surgery so that we had one last outing as well as two weekends to put away the pool. By Spring I should be in good enough shape to open the pool again.
One good thing ... with the daughters graduated from college I don't have any moving into/out of dorms to deal with until my son finishes his BFA at Kendall (http://www.kcad.edu/) and goes away for his MFA.

As for the rest, you're going to make me blush! You're very sweet :)
Take care of yourself and feel better!
