There's a new comm kindle_fanfic and they're looking for authours who will give permission to have their fic converted to Kindle/PDA format.

I got to see one the other day - on my way back from Columbia, I stopped in Greenwood to see a former coworker and she had one - first time I'd ever actually seen one in the flesh (so to speak). It's cool - and incredibly light. I thinks I wants :)

mischief5 told me about this and I meant to check it out. Interesting that they are doing all this to convert to Kindle when I've been merrily saving all the fanfic I want to text and putting it on my Kindle with no problems at all.

Gryn. This project was started by one of my LJfriends in LotR fandom, and now I see it ref'd here, just a few days out. (I actually did a double-take: Whose journal is this on again?) Gotta love the Internet. :D
