That was what I was wondering - whether I should wait until fall. But I'll also (hopefully) be better able to tolerate the heat health-wise by then too.
From what the tax lady said, it sounds like I should be getting a nice refund that sounds like it would pay for everything, maybe even a couple of nights in Vegas (plus the stimulus thingie too).
Honestly, I don't know what your hear tolerance would be like. Don't know what *mine* is going to be like :) July/August is the hottest. So fall might be better and you could get outside a bit more.
A bit smaller than last year - which tax lady thinks she may can still get me(yeah tax lady!) (I budgeted enough of my back pay from SS to cover all the home improvement stuff - even with the extra squirrel damage - so any extra I get is fun money ::g::)
Annoying cousin is eagerly anticipating hers ::insert vomiting icon::
Way back when I did a coach trip across the US, Zion was on the itinerary. I am still pissed off with the bus itself, which broke down in southern Utah, so instead of more sightseeing we spent a day kicking dust about in a tiny hamlet *pout*
Just like the description said, it was the backside of water [g] You actually go in behind the waterfall. Though it isn't an actual waterfall, it's water seeping from inside the rock. It's called Weeping Rock.

Will you be able to withstand the anticipation? ::snerk::
Yes, I'm being mean, but annoying cousin is annoying :)

Suppose I'll just have to try again someday :)

If I remember rightly, the reason we didn't traipse down the canyon is because I had been (bad food) sick on the trip home.
