I can't use the theme from my LJ since it's based on Flexible Squares which isn't an option on Dreamwidth. So I gues I'm stuck with one of the default themes. GAH!!!

I miss my angel.

I think at some point they are supposed to get new themes. I hope so as I'm not crazy about anything they have over there yet. I like your angel too.

Start poking the core2 testing layout (you have to click the all option to see it) and you'll see how gorgeous the wizard is. I'd have moved my blog into that layout/foundation if not for the fact that it left positions user icons and I frequently table in other pics which come in to the left so NEED right positioned icons.

Also, new styles should be ready to go this week.

Under select style choose ALL not Featured. Then click for core2 testing. And see the wizard which is really damn cool. (simpler explanation to make head hurt less)

Well, found the core two testing, but not the wizard. Ah well, I'll mess around with it later.

once you find the core two testing page, you then choose it, and move through the customising options (which are basically the wizard) i.e. lots of easy options: styles/colors/header/ background etc. all just by clicking and picking stuff rather than having to actually use CSS code.

Dang! You still can't get on? Has anyone been able to log in for you from some other locale?

As for you helping, I wouldn't bug you about it :) You made me the theme, don't expect you to do maintenance :)

I haven't tried the different locale thing yet, although I might this weekend if it continues! This isn't the first time this has happened to me, but it usually sorts itself out (I think it may have to something to do with my service, despite what they say, as the page times out before it makes a connection)

I don't mind doing maintenace, but as I can't access the templates available at DW, I can't figure what to do in order to bend them to my will :-P

My layout is one of those that they have, and it's white, purple, and pink...I don't like the color pink, but it was the only one I could remember while trying to make it pretty. I hope they come out with some pretty soon, because I don't want to think about it.
