HA! Back when I was in high school, in East Tennessee, one of my dad's co-workers brought in a pint he'd bought from Popcorn. Just the smell of it was enough to make me heady! I only had one sip of it; firey going down and then a glow that lasted about an hour. Sad to know Popcorn's gone because of his whiskey. He was quite the character in the region.
I never actually met Popcorn; I was too young for that sort of thing. But there were a lot of stories about him and someone always knew someone who got their liquor from him.
okay, i just have to say, i think you're picking up vibes from me or something cuz right now, at thes VERY MOMENT, i have in my queue of stories i am working on, a story about moonshiners and ATF.
