This Year, Or Next?

I'm supposed to be writing a Halloween challenge fic, and I did get a good start last month, but all the RL stuff interfered with continuing. Now I'm back from vacation and just don't feel like writing. So, should I force myself to finish, or just put it aside till next year? If I don't get cracking this week, I don't see how I can finish it, and get it beta read by Oct. 31.

Isn't vacation supposed to be invigorating?!?!

I'm supposed to be writing too. And I feel so blah. But I'm determined to write - why? Because I know from experience, for myself, if I put this off and then something else, another year would have passed and I won't write anything. I have to make myself do it. And I want to. I have something in my head. I just have to get it down.

Yeah, I have the whole story in my head, just have no desire to actually type it out. Well, maybe I'll see if I can do a little bit tonight and see what happens.
