Watching The Great British Bake Off, and it's cracking me up in this challenge - which is their idea of an 'American Pie' - as they're talking about how sweet American desserts are (One of the judges being quite nose up in the air on the subject.). I must protest! Some of the sweetest desserts I ever had were on visits to the UK. We definitely do not have the market cornered on sweet!

Yes, they fry Mars bars in Scotland. I avoided those. But I did eat the Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the Treacle Sponge. Oh my! SWEET!
