Question for Canadian F'listees

My uncle just got married, and my mum wants to give him and his wife a gift certificate from a store local to them. Is there a Canadian equivalent of Bed, Bath and Beyond (those may even be in Canada for all I know)? Someplace that sells housewares and linens and such. They're going to be building a house in Vernon B.C., and currently live in Terrace. Our default is a gift certificate from the Bay, but wanted to see what other chains might be in Canada since we left.

Doesn't look like BB&B are up there, but Linens 'N' Things are:

http://canada.lnt.com

They list six stores in BC, but they mostly seem to be in the Vancouver 'burbs. Except for the one in Victoria, which (:: MapQuests Vernon and Terrace ::) is even less helpful. :-/

Home Outfitters (http://www.hbc.com/giftregistryHO/) looks promising. :: looks a little further :: And is in fact under the Bay umbrella. They list one in Kelowna, which is a bit more useful.
