I'm neck deep in Queen of Swords obsession after watching some of the eps with robi_travels this weekend. It's been a while since I've watched any of them, and I'd forgotten how fascinated I am by Montoya. Not that I don't love Dr. Helm, of course! But it's Montoya that really grabs me in this series. And the fic I'd thought of writing several years ago and filed in the back of my brain is now running amuck in my head wanting to be written [smacks at it with a mental bat][Die! Die!]

Since I'm home alone on Thanksgiving, I think I'm going to treat myself to a QoS marathon. And watch some more of the vids from VividCon that aka_arduinna sent me a few weeks back. And make crumpets. And not write QoS fic!

I need a Montoya icon.

During Katelyn's first couple of months, when she woke up several times a night, I used to nurse her back to sleep while watching QoS reruns on Bravo. I'd never seen it before, ever! Montoya was definitely the best character :)

I've never seen it air here after the initial run. I thought it was a fun show, but I've always had a soft spot for anything Zorro related [g] I loved the old B&W series when I was a wee one.

It's one series I've always wanted to see, but never have nd the youtube stuff just makes me want to see more! OH hasn't had much luck at getting hold of it either *pout*.

I know a lot of Highlander fans didn't like the show when it came out, but I thought it was enjoyable.

I didn't get to see it first run which is why I bought the vhs tapes when I got the chance. I loved the show. Dr. Helm and Montoya rocked!

I think I was one of the few people at the time who actually liked it. It was pretty thoroughly trashed on the HL related lists I was on. But that's okay, I'm used to being in the minority :)

I loved QoS just for Helm and Montoya! David A. did a fantastic job on this series. I'll have to watch it again. :)

Oh, and call me Thursday night. Or I'll call you after Seth goes home. We can giggle over the bathtub scene!

Hey, don't get burnt out. We only got to watch some of the episodes and I expect to be able to have another run during the next visit.
