A Report From My Sickbed

I'm trying to decide if I should just put the roast in the freezer and save the big dinner we were supposed to have tonight for New Year's Day instead. I've now started coughing, and while I can probably get dinner together, I'm not sure how much I'd actually enjoy eating it. Maybe I should make some pumpkin soup and call it a day.

We ended up watching AWE last night, and it ended at the stroke of midnight, which was amusing. So we said Merry Christmas and opened our gifts. Was pretty funny -- my family isn't doing gifts this year, so the only thing I had to open was Nin's present. She felt bad because I only had the one thing to open, and she had her parents gifts as well as my gift to her. So when she was supposed to be taking presents to work, she bought a few little things to give me something more to open! Sweetheart!
