Self Gifting

After a couple of years of buying nothing but practical shoes for work, I broke down and treated myself to a lovely pair of sandals. Somewhat vintage looking, cherry red, and they even have heels! A little pre birthday present to myself. I feel vaguely guilty, but I keep looking at them and feel less so!

The bad part is that I'm now aware of and addicted to zappos.com.

Where do you think I get all my practical shoes for work? [g] Ebay is the only place I can afford to get Merrills, which are my must have shoe for the warehouse floors.

I love Merrills! Do you buy used or new on eBay? I've never bought shoes there, though I've bought a lot of lightly used sweaters.

I buy them new. If you keep an eye out, you can get some great prices, especially on last year's styles.

I'm addicted to surfing Zappos.com. I've never actually bought anything there. Shoe surfing is mesmerizing.

It is. They have an amazing selection, better than almost any bricks-and-mortar shoe store. I bought a pair of boots there last winter because I wanted a specific style (black, square-toed, chunky heels) that I couldn't find any place else.
