We went to Trader Joe's today -- they just opened one in Old Monterey -- and before we went in, we decided yo walk around the gardens of the Cooper-Molera Adobe. Loved it! Nearly 200 year old fruit trees in blossom. Plus, they have sheep and chickens in the courtyard. The chickens and the rooster stared following ninjababe and clucking up a storm, and I realized it was the burgundy coloured canvas wine holders she was carrying! Must have looked like their feed sacks! It was the funniest thing!

Yes, our exciting Saturday afternoon!

It was a little scary... I was wandering around, enjoying the winter garden in California (Which included some blossoming trees... Only in California...).

Suddenly, when I looked to the side, I see a chicken following me. Then, a few moments later, I see two following me...

Then, there was a rooster following me... I started to be paranoid.

Finally, I ended up hiding the wine holders in my jacket. The fowl stopped following me then. They seemed very disappointed though...
