What Do They Mean?

I run a House M.D. email list with a 1000+ members, and Yahoo sends me admin notices whenever somone new joins. I see so many odd Yahoo IDs and emails, and there are times I wonder what the story is behind them. I'm perpetually curious about such things, it's a quirk of mine [g] I'd love to ask, but I'm sure I'd scare new members off, them thinking I'm stalker list owner chick. It's somewhat the same with LJ names -- I often wonder abut the less obvious ones.

Heh, well my Yahoo handle which is probably what I'm subbed to the House list with is BigVsRebecca. It's from a period where Kevin Spacey was my main obsession. His character in L.A. Confidential -- Jack "Big V" Vincennes -- is my favorite role of his. So Big V's Rebecca. My current handle, and newest is BeccaDG. I'm not sure of the timeline of my handle use, but when I first got on I used simply Rebecca as much as I could. I added BigVsRebecca or Dragon Goddess when I needed something other than Rebecca. BeccaDG is actually Becca D. G. with the DG standing for Dragon Goddess. I've put in my user bio, "I'm Becca, Dragon Goddess." ;)
