Look, A Meme!
Why the heck not?
Ask me a question about one of my stories. It can be absolutely anything in any story. Whatever you ask, I will attempt to answer truthfully.
You may ask about fic I've written, fic I've promised to write, WIPs, anything you'd like.

your depiction of Pepper Potts seems more at-ease and relaxed than the film suggests; is it all a matter of who she's talking to* or does it show how your OFC can gain peoples' confidences?
* = she seems a bit more hair-let-down with Tony in your fic, though.

I don't think my OFC can gain confidences. She doesn't have mutant powers or anything. But she has known Pepper for 6 years, so it's not like they're perfect strangers. I would hope if I'd known someone that long, and bought them Xmas and BD gifts for them from my boss that I'd actually have conversations with that person. I guess all I can say is that it seems logical to me. It would seem bizarre to me to not have some sort of friendly interaction after all that time. Granted, some people think admins are beneath notice, but Charlotte isn't that sort of person. She's not Christine.

I didn't mean to suggest that Charlotte has mutant powers - just that Immortality would've given her time to refine her friendliness and conversational ability into a weapon that probably makes Methos check his pockets after a chat. ;)

I was writing "I Am Going To The West", straight Highlander for once, no xover elements. About the same time, I'd written that Tony meets Methos ficlet, and the Tony/Pepper one. So Tony was really active, chattering non stop. As I'm writing the HL fic, he walked into Charlotte's winery and informed me that they were great friends, he was in the story now! Gah!! That's what became 'Practical Applications'. Seriously, I feel I had very little to do with it :)

It's great when the characters decide for themselves what they want. That's how my OFC - Katie happened. I was trying to fix Sam Winchester up with an established canon character and he said - not interested. I like her roommate better - so I created one.
BTW - Car damage was minimal and is being repaired tomorrow.yay

Glad to hear about the car! And I'm around tonight if you are looking for company :)

Going to bed early - at least that's the plan. Though my Richie and Jo story is demanding attention.
