A Taste of Methos

Since several people on the Mag 7 or Iron Man side of the fence who read my fic have commented that they really aren't familiar with Highlander, and more specifically, Methos, I present two YouTube clips! One of my favourite scenes, from the episode 'Forgive Us Our Trespasses'. It's a pretty good distillation of Methos IMHO. I should find a clip to do the same for Mag 7, though I don't have the series memorized like I do Highlander [g] So any suggestions would be appreciated!

Oh, and Methos is the one without the pony tail!

Awwww - Methos! I just watched the dvds from the LA Walkabout. They watched and talked about this episode in one of the panels. Adrian and Peter both got a kick out of those scenes.

Your timing is a little off. This would've been useful BEFORE I went to a Torchwood con over the weekend and met the guy who played Methos.

He sings and plays the guitar quite well, by the way.

*laughs* True... it just wasn't relevant until he became a last minute addition to the con's guest roster (when 3 out of 4 other guests had major problems...)

He's a nice looking guy, I couldn't help but notice. And he said he'd never seen Torchwood before, but after the con, he's going to make sure he does.

We were all following the Torchsong drama as the weekend unfolded. lots of Highlander fans are TW fans, and a friend of mine was there and was emailing some of us updates.

Thanks for the intro! I think I had gotten a fair picture from your stories, but there's something to hearing his voice. {grin} I've seen the actor in some other things & always liked him. These clips are neat, too (esp. the shot in the back & the "You are such a pain in the @$$")

MacLeod doesn't know just how close to final-death he came in that last scene...as Methos has said "just because I don't like to fight, doesn't mean I can't."
