Yo Ho Ho, & An Open Thread!
I shamelessly pillaged this idea from
mhalachaiswords
Definitions of Open thread on the Web:
An open thread is a post on a blog or frequently updated website where readers may comment and discuss any topic that they choose.
So, I officially declare this an open thread. Ask what you want, or bring up any topic you want. Basically, I want y'all to entertain me [g] Because what else is a f'list for, huh?

It's funny, we have problems in the UK with aggressive American plants destroying our natives and upsetting the eco-system. It never occurred to me that you might have the same kinds of problems in the US.
Huh, you learn something new everyday.

I really should try to work on that kudzu monster story. I bet I could sell it :)

So, how's it going?
When did you first start to fangirl Peter Wingfield?
no subject
Probably the first Methos episode [g] But I think the real fangirlyness started after the first con I met him at: Anglicon in 1997. He wasn't a disappointment in RL, which was a nice unexpected extra!

Pirates are yummy...at least the new fangled clean ones. The real ones smelled and had bad teeth. Now, really, most people back then most likely smelled and had bad teeth but I'm pretty sure pirates ate even worse than the rest. But they got to play with cannons and sail ships and they didn't have to deal with Navy superiors. I've often wondered whether over all in a lifetime one would make more money from pirate swag or from prize money.
But I digress. I was saying that pirates are yummy...and I can prove it: http://pics.livejournal.com/some_day_soling/pic/001afq5b/g186

One problem: I don't know how to knit. Would he mind if the sweater is crocheted?

I think a crocheted sweater would be quite nice.
