An open thread is a post on a blog or frequently updated website where readers may comment and discuss any topic that they choose.

So, I officially declare this an open thread. Ask what you want, or bring up any topic you want. Basically, I want y'all to entertain me [g] Because what else is a f'list for, huh?

Ah, it all makes sense now.

It's funny, we have problems in the UK with aggressive American plants destroying our natives and upsetting the eco-system. It never occurred to me that you might have the same kinds of problems in the US.
Huh, you learn something new everyday.

Yeah, it's a major problem all over the country with different plants being the villains. Here, Eucalyptus is a real problem, and broom and pampas grass. In the south, it's things like kudzu which literally buries the area.
