Moving Pictures

Over in [livejournal.com profile] beeej's comments last night, we got to talking about what movies Tony Stark would be a fan of (I thought he'd like old monster movies like "The Blob"). So what movies do you think your fave characters would be a fan of?

Oddly enough, I think he might like Japanese monster movies. Like Godzilla -- although I'm not sure he could watch Godzilla now.

And I think he might like some of the super-patriot movies, like Rambo and Rocky IV. He might even like superhero movies (if that's not breaking the fourth wall).

I think Methos would like Laurel and Hardy, Duncan would like Akira Kurosawa films, Joe, Westerns maybe?

Joe would like historical movies, I think -- old swashbucklers. And Westerns. I think you might be able to get a real rise out of him with a badly-costumed movie. After all, he's a Watcher--he knows his history.

Vachon obviously is a fan of Humphrey Bogart films, and somehow I like to think that expands to most anything from the Golden Age.

Dean enjoys a) tearing apart horror films, b) anything with fast cars, loose women, big guns, and lots of explosions, and c) most importantly, anything and everything with the incomparable Steve McQueen.

I wonder what Dan Clifford would like? Art films if he's impressing a woman. On his own, I don't know if he'd go. I think he follows footie and I suspect he watches all of the major golfing tournaments.

Both Horatio and Dino are fans of Bogart and the gangster films of the 1930's and 40's.
