Did they have to kill Renee? Really? It's the last bloody season, so couldn't Jack just have one damn happy moment? Just one, that's it. I get the whole brooding angst hero thing, I do, but there's a point where it's just too much. It was unfair and a cheap shot (no pun intended) and made me incredibly angry.

Not happy right now. I'm not.

I haven't watched it this year. I only watched season 7 because you-know-who was in it. But killing off someone for no reason is a cheap shot. A lot of shows tend to do that now.

I felt the same way when they killed off Kate in NCIS. (I know already the actress was exhausted!) Still, I was so totally peeved at the senseless way of getting rid of her that I refuse to watch the show.

Apparently they planned to kill her right from day 1, and discussed it with both Keifer and the actress (whose name escapes me). Plus, they also discussed just how many minutes of lovemaking Keifer would get in the episode. Now that must have been a lively debate. :-)

But it was no cheaper than yet another freaking mole in CTU. Whoever does the hiring for these guys needs to be fired. Immediately. What a waste of Katee Sackhoff. Geesh.

We'll watch to the end, but only out of the same sense of loyalty that keeps us watching Lost.

I felt the same way all that summer, but I did go back. And I'm glad I did, as it's one of our favorite shows on TV. I love Ziva -- she and Tony complement each other better than Tony and Kate.

You should give the DVDs a try. They're well worth it. I just watched the entire series over again, so I can say that from very recent memory. :-)

I was so pissed they killed her - but they needed Jack to go rogue to hunt down her killer - just wounding her wouldn't be enough. This season hasn't been the best - it just keeps getting worse btu I'll stick it out until the end.
