We arrived safely at the Grand Canyon, had a lovely New Year dinner and enjoying the 3 degree evening. We heard it was -11 this morning for the sunrise walk. I think I'll pass on that one!

Wild Saturday night
Dec. 16th, 2012 02:33 pmSo we spend a Sat.. night in Vegas and what do we do? Go to Target and buy a $5 Dvd - Australia - that we hadn't seen before, along with a bottle of wine and some cheese from Whole Foods, and went back to our hotel room. That's partying on the wild side!
This morning we hit the Bellaggio and the Jean Phillipe Chocolate Pattissiere and had crepes for breakfast. Yummmmmm!
Currently awaiting our second viewing of the Hobbit. I think Nin's having a good birthday!

Evening in Yermo
Jul. 3rd, 2012 09:11 pmDinner was Jack in the Box, with Black Box Cabernet in the motel room. We watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding on HBO, and then discovered a Big Bang Theory marathon! Love this show!
We're watching TV and I'm tweeting insanely. Dealing with live TV is very odd. And what I really want to do is go in to the 24 hr diner here at 3am and demand tacos and a malt. Just because I can. Nin's being resistant though.
