I am loving this season!! I usually am so far behind, I never get to read other peoples' posts on the show, so as to avoid spoilers, so I don't talk about the show since it's all past for everyone else, but...

I think the good man River Song murdered/murders is the Doctor, and I'm wondering if Amy is the DW version of Dawn from BVTS - the key. Like she's a human manifestation of whatever the cracks are or what's causing them.

Okay, got that out of my system!


Did I mention I'm really enjoying this Doctor? The show makes me happy like I remember feeling when I first started watching DW back in the early eighties.

Now to catch up on the six eps of Merlin we have yet to watch.

I think you're right about her victim, that's what I thought too, given how coy they were in telling him about the murder.

I'm not enjoying this doctor so much. He seems a bit ... unready.

I've reviewed every episode aside from Cold Blood & Hungry Earth (those will get written on TARDIS time methinks) which was Chris Chibnall's action adventure two parter. So you don't have to feel that you're watching alone, or that you're talking to yourself.

I freaking ADORE this new series! And Matt's totally my third favorite incarnation already. It goes: Five, Eight, Eleven now. He feels like THE DOCTOR to me again. The character I truly fell in LOVE with. I liked Nine a lot (I started with nu!Who first), but I didn't LOVE the character until I got into classic. After almost four years of Ten making me want to kill people, mostly kill him, this is a breath of fresh air. Anyway, I'm so happy the majority of my FL are enjoying it, too.

If you ever get bored, all of my DW reviews are tagged. There's lots of positive commentary. Except for that Silurian two parter which was just ... wasted potential.

If she kills a doctor I'm thinking it will be a "Snape killed Dumbledore" kind of thing. She does end up with his sonic screwdriver!

Maybe she has to trigger a regeneration?

I feel this way about the two Chibnall episodes I didn't meta. Am thinking that I'll use them as the central example for a post on Rory that I want to get done before next week's finale two-parter begins.

Not me. He is too twitchy, quirky for my taste. His habit of looking down, wiggling fingers, did I mention twitching? He is like the autistic Doctor (no disrespect to anyone with or with family and friends with autism).

He is such a breath of fresh air. Tennant's scenery chewing and over the top melodrama grated on my nerves. This is the DW I fell in love with back in the 80s.
