At the movies

We saw Toy Story 3 today. GO!!! It is so good! But bring tissues -- seriously.

Which reminds me, trailers! Have seen the trailer for The Last Airbender sooooo many times now. I know not a thing about it, other than the trailer and that it also had Avatar in its title. So when we were in Vegas, and went to see Iron Man, I was watching the trailer - again - and the arrow thing on the kid's head, pointing toward his nose, was cracking me up. I leaned over and whispered in Nin's ear 'Press here for service'. She had hysterics. Now she says she can't go see the movie with a straight face.

It's based on a kid's cartoon which aired on Nickelodeon. I watched the first season and half of the second before I got bored. Being a kid's show, it was VERY predictable in it's plots and character development. It's not a bad show, though. The movie, however, looks like a rehash of season one based on the scenes in the trailer. o I can wait for DVD.

I keep hearing good things about Toy Story 3, that it's more grown up, but good.

I liked Avatar: The Last Airbender cartoon, so I want to see the movie, but I heard they went all weird on the plot; I still want to see it, but my expectations are now low :(

I am so sick of that trailer, I can't even tell you. At least now I can laugh at it. But geesh. They played it to death. Thank god we didn't see it before A-Team -- I might have left the theater.
