It's very rare that I start a movie and have the urge to walk out, or in this case, turn off the TV. We rented The Losers on VOD and I am this close to switching channels. Maybe it gets better? Or this is two hours of my life I'm not getting back [g]

I watched 'Bottle Shock' a while ago. I'm glad I did. Made me happy.

I admit, I have a deep love of cheesy action movies, so I was all *gasp!* to read this! hee!

But I do think, from a story standpoint, you'd like the comic much better, the tone, pacing and characters are more gritty, the plot's more multilayered and the resolution is kickass. Although Roque in the comic isn't as compelling. If movie!Roque was in the comic... Wow, that would be great!

The only thing nonspoilery about the comics I didn't like, is that there were different artists for each arc and the shifts in style sometimes threw me.

I haven't heard of Bottle Shock, so now I'm curious, I shall have to look it up! We ended up watching New Trek afterward, which helped.

Well JDM was very pretty in it! And I always like Zoe Saldana, so I watched it all the way through. Did like the last hospital and soccer scene - very cute!

It's about the events leading up to a 1976 wine tasting competition between French and Napa Valley wines.

i saw it over the weekend too... i like the blow-up-stuff movies, and JDM was quite pretty in it too.
