AO3 will be changing 'pairings' to 'relationships', and I love it! You know that I believe friendship very often gets shortchanged in fandom/fic, and that friendship has as much validity as does romantic relationships. I am thrilled to now be able to tag my fic the way I've always wished I could.

Heh, setting aside an urge to go AO wu? What little fanfic reading I do anymore I do here on LJ. I totally agree that that is cool! While I've gotten considerably slashier in my years online there are still relationships that I see as perfect friendships, no romance involved. Course, taking a look at the link, I also appreciate their having considered that romantic relationships come in more diversity than a pairing. ;)

I'm not really a fic reader nuch anymore, but as a writer, I love it. And yeah, as my FK/HL series is set around a polyamorous relationship, it adds to my happiness on the change. I just need to get around to archiving that series there.
