Soup

Dang, I went and got really sick this time. It's been a bad winter - when I was so sick over the holidays I never quite threw it off and it's been like a revolving door of sickness ever since. I did some work at home, but even my eyes hurt. Then I took a nap. Remembered I had tossed a bag of turkey bones and bits into the freezer, what was left from breaking down the bird for stock, so turkey rice soup is on the menu tonight. Smells really good.

Mum had a job interview today, and she thinks/hopes she might get it, so keep fingers crossed. Hoping brother will get at least a call back on something soon.

If you have been feeling a bit croak lately, as they say in OZ, turkey soup will put the bloom back in your step..........
I think like chicken soup it has that magical quality.
