I'm actually thinking of watching it. I know, I know, I didn't even finish the first book, but Sean Bean, people! That, and it seems like it's going to be really good TV.

The 15 minute preview that was shown on HBO a week or so ago really caught my attention. I'm definitely going to be watching. Sean Bean being awesome. And Jason Momoa. I can't say no.

It's free HBO Weekend so I'm going to try it. I was already kind of curious because of Sean Bean, Mark Addy and Peter Dinklage.

Am so excited!!!!!!! This is as good as Lord of the Rings making it to the big screen. Maybe better since it will be a mini-series.

I think you should watch. I'm interested to see what others who haven't made it through the books think.

But yes, Sean Bean! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is pretty nice on the eyes too, especially for the role he will be playing as Jaime, should be awesome.

I'm curious - why didn't you make it through the book? Just not your proverbial cuppa?

I'm personally jumping up and down like a sugared up five year old in anticipation, but I kinda love those crack-like books *g*.

It was a couple things that all together just made me decide not to continue. I got as far as the last one or two chapters, always meant to finish it, but kept forgetting. I took that as a sign [g]
