That's very pretty. You really seem to have the hang of it. When signing up they ask for an URL. What is it they want? The URL of a webpage, or a picture host, or an email address, or your fiction archive? It seems vague to this woman of a certain age...

I had the same problem - turns out they want a user name for your tumblr URL, so I put in ithildyn - after I''d pasted in homepage links LOL

Not sure I do, put I'm pressing all the buttons to see what they do.

You can also track tags but be careful -- they may not be what you think they are. Frex: track the tag "Castle", aka the TV series, and you'll get that and a lot of castles, including the Disney castle. Oy! Track "Bones" the series, and you'll get lots of archaeology photos with, yes, bones. "White Collar" gets you -- you guessed it -- white collars. O.o

And there's a lot of reblogging. A lot. Did I say there's a lot of reblogging? Just checking. 'Cause there's a lot. A whole lot. Bunches. Over and over. It gets a little repetitive. Did I say that?

Ahem.

Try to be specific with your tags. It can get weird. But do check out the Victorian tag; you'll like it. :)

I can't figure out how to reply on Tumblr, so I'll do it here ;}

According to the Help there's something called 'Disqus' available on the Customize page, lets you set up for comments on your page. I'm guessing that of someone doesn't have it enabled, you can't comment to them. Which sucks.

You have to activate it from the Customize page.

I set one up about three months ago and I couldn't figure it out. So it's been gathering dust ever since. :/
