Pillaged from a stellar variety of folk!
Post the first sentence (or three) from every WIP you're currently working on, even if it's very short. Then invite people to ask questions about your WIPs. With any luck, the motivation to take that WIP one step closer to completion will appear as if by magic!
I only have three, currently.
1: Once upon a time, on Earth, Immortals were at the top of the food chain. They may not have known what they were, or where they came from, but they were secure in the knowledge that they were unique and without peer. But there came a day that something happened to shatter that belief.
2: “You are the most beautiful boy. Yes, you are! Are you lonely here all by yourself?”
Colonel Luis Montoya, military governor in the service of his Majesty the King of Spain here in this part of Alta California, paused at the sound of the female voice, speaking in English.
3: “If you want me to come, then of course I will. But I think you overestimate any influence I might have with Chris.”
“Thank you, Charlotte,” Ezra said, relief colouring his voice.

3, yep, M7, and the one (http://ithildyn.livejournal.com/808761.html) that seems to get the least attention from me. I bring out occasionally and try and add a bit more.

3 - I've finally started to (actively) work on more than two stories at a time and I love having one that's a bit of fallback to break out so I can add bits and pieces to it.

For the Immortals of Midgard, when the gods returned, the universe, and their place in it, changed irrevocably.
