And Now... Fire

Fire on the ridge west of us. I head fire trucks and immediately began looking for smoke. It's not close enough to be a damage to us, but close enough the wind is blowing the smoke this way, blocking out the sun. I hate this time of year. It's hot, very dry, and windy. To make today worse, we're under a high wind advisory till tonight. I always worry when I'm at work and too far away to do anything if we get a wildfire near us. No way we'd be able to get all the pets out in time if we had to evacuate, even if I were home. Praying they get this fire out quickly before any homes go down.
