Since I've spent the day being grumpy, here's a list of good things today:

Two margaritas, grilled skirt steak, and a Banana Napoleon for lunch.

A fresh pot of Scottish Breakfast Tea steeping.

The Forever Knight vampire femslash fic that I'm determined to work on tonight.

Making Nin's favourite dish for dinner.

Having enough to drink at lunch to tell my coworkers the 'Kum & Go' story from vacation.

The adorable shoes from Piperlime that came in the mail today.

My Flist!

Not having to go back to work till Monday.

I've always messed around with femslash. Though in the old days it was just called slash with an f/f on it.

Interesting. Guess I always got the impression you were anti-slash of any sort.

But hey, that could be interesting. Do you write in the cross over world - FK and HL, along with your original characters?

A long time back I wrote a femslash and maleslash epic FK naughty limerick. I hadn't thought of that thing in ages. LOL

[mentally sorts through posted fic] The only stuff posted is inferred and that old standby -- subtext! [g] Through the stories in the Bloodties series, there's always been the thread of Triona's relationship with Janette, and the one of the last stories I posted, 'My Soul is Dark', that was part of what Triona and Methos were fighting about.

The story I'm mentally working on is during Human Factor after Nick brings Janette across. Those hours after the fire till he meets LaCroix with the painting.

Oh, and just for the record, I'm not 'anti-slash'. I think everyone has different taste and enjoys different things. I happen not to enjoy m/m slash, that doesn't mean I'm against other people enjoying it. It just doesn't do it for me. I can't suspend my disbelief the 99% of the time I come across it in the fandoms I'm involved in, nothing more sinister than that.

Just wanted to clarify so no one came away with the wrong impression, thinking I wanted to ban slash from the internet or something.
