Torchwood: Eps Ten & Eleven

Well that was depressing. But I really enjoyed the episode and thought they did a good job of dealing with the old chestnut of people out of their time. Too bad Diana left -- I was rather hoping she might replace Owen or Ianto, or anyone on the team for that matter.

Which brings me to episode eleven. I've come to the the conclusion I really wouldn't miss a single member of Torchwood. They're getting on my nerves the way Rose was on Doctor Who. Then one day, I read those beautiful words 'new Companion'. Here's hoping I read the words 'new team members' soon! Give Jack some new folks to badly manage [g] Please!

I wish they would kill Gwen off - she drugged her boyfriend, they have really written that character into a corner. I do like Tosh and Ianto though, but Owen and Gwen - bleh!

Gwen was the one character I liked, but not so much anymore, so I woudn't cry if she were gone. Owen, I just don't like. Tosh I have no real feelings for one way or the other, so no hard feelings if she goes. Ianto just annoys the heck out of me and I want him to go away somewhere.

I say make it all Jack all the time!

I'm feeling vaguely hopeful for the next ep, mainly that I start to like Tosh more because the rest (bar Jack) are a bunch of irritating wankers. Apart from Rhys - not that he gets much screen time, but at least he's normal enough to relate to!
