It's so windy today! And strong winds at that. Blew open the glass and steel front door to the warehouse. The way it's crashing agaisnt the elephant door makes it sound like the whole building is coming down. Thw power's flickered a few times, so here's hoping it stays on at least till going home time!

Having done the abandoned cat rescue thing, I really feel for the Magills. They must be heartbroken. If we already didn't have our quota of rescued cats, I'd take a couple myself.

Dec. 27th, 2006 10:02 pmI actually wrote about a page today of the second part of 'The Silent Stars Go By'. Hopefully, I'll get more done tomorrow. so I'm still not totally outside the chance of getting it all finished by New Years!
Along the way tonight, I found the song that goes with it: Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks

Obviously the title of the story is from "Little Town of Bethlehem", but I'm a fic soundtrack whore, I admit it :) And I'm a sucker for a plaintive fiddle. This song just seems to fit right now.
