Check!

I got more done this weekend than I thought I would. Throw in the sewer once more backing up into the bathtub, and I say, go me!

Wrote and posted new fic, created two batches of new icons [gazes fondly at Methos posterior], sewed/mended, packed for Philly, made several dinners, installed new beautiful LJ layout [gazes fondly at the shiny pretty!], talked to mum twice, watered jungle on front deck, checked in online for our flight tomorrow and printed out the boarding passes.

I still have payroll to do today, and the boss guy has told me to leave early so I can take a nap before we leave the house tonight at midnightish. Will switch over purses when I get home, scrub out bathtub, do dishes, put together Sparrows toys and dishes for her trip to Fremont, and then take a nap!

This time tomorrow, we should be in Denver!

A Bit of This, a Bit of That

I am now to the point of eating pepto bismol like candy [sigh] That will probably continue till the plane lands in Philly tomorrow. Twenty four hours till that glorious moment! Then I can start worrying about the flight home!

Oddly enough, editing calms me, as I discovered when I tweaked yesterday's story. I wasn't entirely happy with it, having written it in a rush along with all the other stuff going on. So I've just reposted a somewhat modified version. Not a whole lot different, but I'm happier with it now!

I think I'm going to take a shower now, then start drinking. Maybe try for a nap, but I think I'm too anxious for that.
