Halloween was a bust. Nin took the night off and dressed up and we decorated the crud out of the patio, and we had a total of seven trick-or-treaters! Two groups of three and one kid. And they were all pre-teens out by themselves, no cute little ones out with their parents. Very disappointing.

So, this NaNo thing, and those of you who are doing it -- what's the attraction? I have RL friends who do it every year, I know dozens more on the internet, and now it seems half my f'list is participating. Me? I've never been even remotely tempted to do it.
