Puttering About
Jan. 20th, 2008 07:14 pmI'm feeling incredibly lazy. I kinda sorta want to write, but can't work up that last burst of energy needed. I've done a few puttery things like catch up with posting fic to my IJ, filling out the cellphone rebate forms, ordering a birthday present for my friend's daughter, and a little tidying up. But other than that...
Oh, before I forget, I read an awesome story last night. It's an Atlantis/Gilmore Girls xover, and it rocks. The premise is that Rory is Rodney's daughter. Okay, so I hate writing summaries, and I always leave them till last, sometimes till after I've posted the first few parts of the story. Since I have pretty much the entire story plotted out in my head, I thought I'd do something different and write the summary first. Concept. Then I did some more early nineteenth century clothing research. Especially dealing with footwear. Now I have no more excuses. Must start writing the story.
Oh, yeah, the summary:
Isabelle does her best to settle into her new life in California, while her brother Robert once more aids the Queen of Swords. Aid that inadvertently pulls Isabelle into a dangerous situation, putting his sister squarely in the sights of Colonel Montoya.
And now, I need to go to bed. Work comes early. Too early.
