Over at the Highlander comm on IJ, they're holding a Valentine themed challenge/rec thingie. If you have any Valentine themed stories to rec, or you're feeling like writing one, head on over.

Me, I loathe Valentine's Day with a fiery passion, but I'm feeling inspired to write one of my 'anti-Valentine Day' stories. I think I'm about to take my Highlander/Grey's universe out of mothballs for the occasion. Because I can! We'll see if I can get it written.

Wrote a 1500 word story tonight! Now I'm in the tweaking stage. and I'll hope everyone will forgive me in that it isn't QoS or the next part of 'Fondly'. Sorry! I hope you'll like it anyway. Maybe? But those of you who have been wanting another story in the Emily series will be happy. Hopefully, you'll still be happy after you read it [cough] Yes, I'm one of those sorts of fic moods.

Summary: Leaving is the hardest part of happily ever after.
Notes: This is another story in my Highlander/Grey’s Anatomy series. As usual, it’s more Highlander than it is Grey’s. The other stories are Irreconcilable Differences, Seriously, The Tragedy That We Knew As The End, The Final Word You Ever Uttered To Me Was Love. As with Grey’s, I’m using a song title as the story title. In this case, it’s ‘So Close’ from Enchanted. That being said, I have a feeling people are going to yell at me for this one. But remember, it’s an anti-Valentine story! And it’s me [g] You know how I am.
